Molungyimsen
Why should you visit?
Clark Museum
You will find remarkable artifacts and records on the origin of Christianity in Nagaland, India.
Pilgrimage
Step away from the busyness of life to pray, reflect, and trace the steps of Rev. Dr. & Mrs. Clark in the place they called home.
Our Story
Our story is best summarized in these words by Rev. Dr. Edward Winter Clark, one of the founders of Molungyimsen. "To establish a village where the spirit of Christianity rather than that of war should reign, the Christians of Deka Haimong with the missionary moved a few miles westward to a vacant mountain crest and founded the village of Molung on the 24th of October 1876. Here in all the ages was the first Naga village to hold Christ as King, all praise to His name." ("Beginnings of Naga Mission in Assam," Assam Baptist Missionary Conference of the American Baptist Foreign Mission Society. Report of the Twelfth Biennial Session, Held in Gauhati, January 4-13, 1913, p. 54).

Looking Ahead
We aspire to be "like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruits in its season, and their leaves do not wither." Ps 1:3

Our Hopes
We believe in the promises found in I Peter 5:10 that the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, support, strengthen, and establish us.
